Mr. Gutierrez, CEO of ExterraEnergy Engineering Consulting Inc., joins the USC Center of Geothermal Studies (CGS) Advisory Board. Mr. Gutierrez has over 30 years of geothermal experience during which he has managed a vast spectrum of geothermal energy projects that promote planning, research and development of geothermal energy technologies with private companies, utilities, universities and governmental agencies.
Mr. Gutierrez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from California State University, Fresno. He has also co-authored a variety of technical papers related to geothermal energy.
