Computers & Geosciences publishes the results of research conducted at USC Center of Geothermal Studies (CGS), The paper is titled An integrated methodology for sub-surface fracture characterization using microseismic data: A case study at the NW Geysers. The paper is authored by Prof. Fred Aminzadeh and his PhD students Tayeb Tafti and Debotyam Maity. Although the data used in this study are from the Geysers geothermal field, it is applicable for characterization and monitoring of shale reservoirs.
