Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev joins the USC Global Energy Network Advisory Board

Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev joins the USC Global Energy Network Advisory Board. Dr. Pashayev has PhD in Solid-State Physics. He was the head of the Metal Physics Laboratory of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences. Dr. Pashayev served as the first Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the United States (1992-2006). Subsequently, he established Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, (ADA) which became a full-fledged university with four schools, offering graduate and undergraduate degree programs, including in computer science and engineering. GEN will benefit tremendously from Dr. Pashayev insight on energy issues that has led to the formation of ADA’s Baku Summer Energy School.
