Ormat Technologies gives a $95K gift contribution to the USC Center for Geothermal Studies. Dr. Lucien Bronicki, Chairman and CTO of Ormat announced this gift in a letter to Dean Yortsis, stating: “We have decided to make an unrestricted gift contribution to be used for various programs at your Center for Geothermal Studies (CGS)…., under the direction and discretion of Professor Aminzadeh.” “Initiation of training program and research activities under Dr. Aminzadeh’s Geothermal Program can play an important role in the California and National Geothermal Industry.” Dr. Bronicki continued. He added: “I hope this grant will serve as a catalyst to help build USC Center of Excellence for Geothermal Studies.”
